Chocolate & Strawberry Valentine's Day Candy Hearts

Melt Strawberry Cow Tales® into chocolate covered, strawberry, heart candies for your Valentine!

Ingredients

• 12 Strawberry Cow Tales®, unwrapped
• 1/2 stick butter
• 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Special Supplies

• Heart Silicone Candy Mold
• Valentine's Day Heart Sprinkles
• ​Valentine's Day Nonpareils Sprinkles

Instructions

• In a skillet, melt butter and Strawberry Cow Tales® over medium-low heat. Move and mix until the Cow Tales® are completely melted. 
• Divide the strawberry candy evenly among the heart molds, pressing the candy firmly to fill each mold.
• Let the candy cool over night or refrigerate it for one hour.
• Cover a baking tray with parchment paper.
• When the candy has hardened, remove it from the mold, and place it on the parchment paper.
• Microwave 1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips in a glass bowl for 30 seconds. Remove and stir. Repeat the process in 30-second intervals until the chocolate melts. It can burn quickly, so do not microwave it for longer than 30 seconds at a time.
• Coat the strawberry hearts either by dipping them in the chocolate or drizzling the chocolate over them. 
  
• Decorate each candy heart with Valentine's Day sprinkles. Give the candies about an hour for the chocolate to cool and harden.
